Custom Signal System Design

We're here to create a wiring system to support your desired signal aspects and indications.  From a simple passing track to complex junctions and yard throats with several turnouts, we can create customized trackside signals and circuitry to activate your HO or N scale signals the way you want them to operate.  We acquire, assemble and install required electronic components to create signal wiring circuit panels.  Additionally, you are provided with a signal system wiring reference manual when the installation is complete.

Below is an example of a custom-made signal driver circuit designed and created by Richard at Custom Signal Systems for a Modular Railroad Club member in Northern Utah. It drives 11 separate signal heads (including 5 bi-color red/green LEDs, 1 bi-color red/yellow LED, 3 yellow LEDs and 2 green LEDs), operating from a 3-track 7-light signal bridge and 3 dwarf signals. The 3 main lines, through crossovers and crossings, increase to 5 tracks beyond the signal bridge. All signals are interlocked, protecting against inadvertently clearing 2 trains through the diverging tracks.
